Is covering his third brake light with a sticker slightly illegal?
hi i recently bought i Punisher skull label. I had no idea where put it, so I put it outside the back window at the bottom, where the third break light, so when I break it lights the skull seems impressive, but I wonder if it is illegal .. the tag is approximately 7 inches tall by 3 inches wide. I live in New York so please tell me what you think. t
The National Department of Transportation requires that all indicator lights (brake lights, signal lights, set of lights) need to function properly and free obstructions. Depending on the police in your area, they should not have a problem with it. In my opinion, if you can still see the CHMSL (center high mounted light brake) and the label is what is too weak, do not see why would anyone harm. But if it's completely blocking the CHMSL can be carried and requested removed.
