How to cure a whistle in a Chevrolet s-10?
My 88 Chevy Blazer s-10 is making a strange hissing sound when idling. That strike pretty, but then when I was going to die and start again without eating habit of spraying. I think it might be a leak in my fuel injector, when spraying carb cleaner to keep it working.
Hissing sound is often a loss of vacuum, a vacuum leak can cause massive problems your talking about. Try to determine the loss by operating the engine at idle and spray carb cleaner vacuum lines and all the collector admission * dont spray into the intake throttle as you mentioned, at least not for this test *.. when you hear a difference in how their operation has been found his flight, a brake booster may also cause a huge vacuum leak. You may also be ready for a new fuel pump if you give it gas outside posts.
